A Gender Reveal at Terrain Gardens

This month’s wedding spotlight features Amelia and Jonathan. Amelia is the owner of The Pressed Bouquet Shop, one of our preferred vendors that we love to work with. We held this wedding close to our hearts.

With a collaborative effort from Lavish Haus and PBS, we produced a custom acrylic seating chart with pressed flowers that was a focal point of their wedding. We provided multiple acrylic signs and customized names for each guest with PBS’ touch of pressed flowers to enhance the seating chart. We made a display that had a sturdy base for the sign; next, we added the customized finishing touches with the table numbers and the guests’ names. It was a beautiful display that guests awed over.

The couple wanted to feature their adorable fur babies on the big day. We designed a signature cocktail bar sign and customized it with the dogs’ portraits. Both of their signature cocktails were named after each of their fur babies. It was a standout moment for their guests and their pups.

During the planning process, Amelia found out that she was pregnant! Not only were they planning a wedding, but now they were prepping for a newborn. Amelia and Jonathan wanted to do a gender reveal on their wedding day when they knew all loved ones could all be present. However, they couldn’t decide exactly how to do it. After bouncing around a few ideas, our team came up with the idea to use colored flower petals that the guests can toss up into the air as the newlyweds walk down the aisle. Everyone would be holding pink or blue petals.

As the guests arrived, most found out that they were all going to be part of the couple’s gender reveal. This surprise took the excitement to another level. It was hard not to cry as you saw blue flower petals flying around as the couple walked down the aisle. We cannot be more grateful to be a part of such a memorable day.
